The art and literary scenes are exploding again in Los Angeles! Yet, there has been a gap–a lack of forum and organization among the artistic community. FORTH recognized this gap and came to life, becoming the new voice and exhibition of LA-based art and writing. Publishing poetry, fiction, journalism, and all genres of art, FORTH displays art and literature from both prominent, established writers and artists as well as from rising local talents; FORTH expands community by organizing and sponsoring relevant events throughout the city; FORTH uncovers important stories–including lit- and art-based and socio-cultural news–through its revival of subjective, experiential journalism.
FORTH Magazine has become Los Angeles’ ONLY literary and art publication. We’re proud to be a part of this community, and plan on a continuing expansion, which our wonderful sponsors and readers make possible.
